Comp Value (Comparison Value)
Comp Value is GetOut's best estimated value, calculated by identifying the venues most frequently visited by members in your market and aggregating their standard published admission prices. The total value of the membership is higher assuming higher than average use of the membership. Comp Value is not intended to represent a reference price for any competitor or a prior sale price by GetOut.
How it is calculated
GetOut analyzes the most frequently visited venues by members in each market. We then identify the standard published admission prices for those top venues — sourced directly from each venue's official website or gate pricing. These individual prices are aggregated to produce the Comp Value shown for your market.
Important
Comp Value may change over time as venue admission prices are updated or as venues are added to or removed from your market's membership. The more you use your GetOut membership, the more value you receive beyond the Comp Value shown
.Standard Price
The Standard Price is the regular everyday price at which GetOut memberships are sold. This is the price most members pay and the price that applies when no promotion is active. Your Savings are calculated as the difference between the Comp Value and the Standard Price.
Promotional Price
From time to time, GetOut offers limited-time promotional pricing via promo codes. The Promotional Price is a genuine, temporary reduction from the Standard Price. All promotions have a specific start date and end date. Once a promotion ends, the Standard Price applies. Your Discount is the difference between the Standard Price and the Promotional Price.
Renewal Price
Current GetOut members are eligible for a reduced Renewal Price when extending their membership. The Renewal Price is our way of rewarding loyalty and is available to active members at the time of renewal.
Promo Code
A Promo Code is a limited-time code that unlocks a promotional discount at checkout. Codes are time-sensitive and subject to expiration.
Terms: Only one promo code may be applied per order unless otherwise stated. Codes have no cash value and cannot be combined with other offers unless explicitly noted.
Your Price
Your Price is the final price you pay for your GetOut membership — either the Standard Price or the Promotional Price if a valid promo code has been applied at checkout.
Your Savings
Your Savings is the difference between the Comp Value and the Standard Price. It reflects the estimated value you receive by purchasing a GetOut membership compared to paying standard admission prices individually at the door for each experience.
Your Discount
Your Discount is the dollar amount deducted from the Standard Price when a promotional price or promo code is applied at checkout. Your Discount is shown as a separate line item in your cart so you can clearly see what you are saving beyond the Standard Price.
Total Estimated Savings
Your Total Estimated Savings is the combined value of your Savings and any Discount applied. It represents the total estimated difference between what you would pay purchasing your most enjoyed experiences individually at standard admission prices versus your final GetOut membership price.
Example: If the Comp Value is $200, the Standard Price is $74.95, and a $10 promotional discount is applied, your Total Estimated Savings is $135.05.
Total DueThe Total Due is the final amount charged at checkout, including your membership price and any applicable taxes. This is the only amount charged to your payment method.
Venue Access & Membership Value
GetOut memberships provide access to a curated network of local venues and experiences. The venues included in your membership may change over time as new partners are added and existing partnerships are updated. Visit your market's venues page for a current list of included experiences.
